Initiatives of the"Bulgarian Turkmenistan Chamber of Industry and Commerce" for the Development of Cooperation between the Two Countries

 

I.In the Field of Interstate Relations:

1.      Initiativefor an issuing and presentation in Bulgaria of the book of the President of Turkmenistan, HE Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov - "Akhal-teke - Our Pride and Glory."

 

2.      A joint initiative with the University of National and World Economy in Sofia, for awarding of the President of the Republic of Turkmenistan, HE Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with the title "Honorary Professor of University of National and World Economy."

By decisionof the Rector's Council of the University of National and World Economy - HE Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov - President of the Republic of Turkmenistan was awarded the highest title "Honorary Professor of National and World Economy" for contribution to the development of Bulgarian-Turkmen economic relations. "

 

3.      A joint initiative with the State University of Library Studies and Information Technologies in Sofia for awarding of the HE Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov - President of the Republic of Turkmenistan with the honorary title "Doctor Honoris Causa" of the State University of Library Studies and Information Technologies.

 

In Current date is a procedurefor awarding of HE Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov - President of the Republic of Turkmenistan with the honorary title "Doctor Honoris Causa" of the State University of Library Studies and Information Technologies.

 

4.      A joint initiative with the Bulgarian Equestrian Federation for awarding of HE Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov - President of the Republic of Turkmenistan with the highest honorary medal – “100 years Bulgarian Equestrian Federation”.

By decision of the Board of the Bulgarian Equestrian Federation - HE Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov - President of the Republic of Turkmenistan was awarded an honorary medal – “100 years Bulgarian Equestrian Federation” for services in the field of equestrian action and equestrian sports.

 

5.      On the initiative and the Management Board Decision of the "Bulgarian Turkmenistan Chamber of Industry and Commerce" (BTCIC) creates Society for Friendship between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Turkmenistan aimed more comprehensively expand cooperation between the two countries.

 

II.In the Areas of StatutoryLegal Base:

6. Prepared, translated into Russian and submitted to the relevant ministries for an interdepartmental coordination - Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Government of the Republic of  Turkmenistan for the avoidance of double taxation on income and property. The agreement was sent by  the official diplomatic channels on the Turkmen side.

 

7. Prepared, translated into Russian and provided to the relevant ministries for an interdepartmental coordination - Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Government of the Republic of Turkmenistan for the international carriage of passengers and cargo. Agreement had been sent by  the official diplomatic channels on the Turkmen side.

 

 

8.Prepared, translated into Russian and provided to the relevant ministries for an interdepartmental coordination - Cooperation Agreement in the field of postal communications, electronic communications and information technologies. Agreement had been sent by official diplomatic channels on the Turkmen side.

 

9.Prepared, translated into Russian and provided to the relevant ministries for an interdepartmental coordination - Agreement on international combined transport of goods. Agreement had been sent by official diplomatic channels on the Turkmen side.

 

10.A joint initiative with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to find a possible legal, administrative and consular decision to relieve the citizens traveling between the two countries.

 

 

III.In the Field of Tradeand Economic Relations:

 

 

11. An  initiative, presentation and  invitations to the Bulgarian state and government institutions, companies, firms and organizations from the "Bulgarian Turkmen Chamber of Industry and Commerce" (BTCIC)to participate in the Investment Forum of the Republic of Turkmenistan.

 

12.A joint initiative with the Bulgarian Government for the opening a "Trade House" - on a reciprocal basis in Sofia and Ashgabat.

 

By decisionof the Council of Ministers № 444 of October 1, 2014, "Bulgarian Turkmen Chamber of Industry and Commerce" (BTCIC)is authorized toopen in a rapid order "Trade House" - on a reciprocal basis in Sofia and Ashgabat.

 

13.An initiative to hold an exhibition of the light industry, together with the Plovdiv Fair.

 

14.An initiative to establish a cooperation between the National Vine and Wine Chamber of the Republic of Bulgaria and similar organizations in the Republic of Turkmenistan.

 

IV.In the  Education:

 

15.An initiative of establishing cooperation between the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Turkmenistan.

 

16.An initiative of establishing cooperation between the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" and the Turkmen State University "Mahtumkuli Fraga".

 

In an official letter to the "Bulgarian Turkmen Chamber of Industry and Commerce" (BTCIC) the Rector of the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski " expressed the full readiness for the large-scale cooperation with the Turkmenistan State University "Mahtumkuli Fraga".

 

17.An initiative aiming at establishing cooperation between the Dental Faculty of the  Medical Academy of the Republic of Bulgaria and the State Medical University of the Republic of Turkmenistan.

 

18.An initiative aiming at establishing cooperation between the University of National and World Economy in Sofia and the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management.

 

19.An initiative of establishing cooperation between the Technical University in Sofia and the Turkmen State Architectural and Construction Institute.

 

20.An initiative of establishing cooperation between the State University of Library Studies and Information Technologies- Sofia and the Turkmen State Institute of Culture.

21. An initiative of establishing cooperation between the Agricultural University in Plovdiv and the  Turkmen Agricultural University "S.A. Niyazov ".

22. An initiative of establishing cooperation between the Veterinary Faculty of the Thracian University in the town of Stara Zagora and the Turkmen Agricultural University "S.A .Niyazov ".

23. An initiative of establishing cooperation between the University of Forestry-Sofia and the Turkmen Agricultural University "S.A. Niyazov ".

24. An initiative of establishing cooperation between the Higher School of Transport"Todor Kableshkov" and the Turkmen State Institute of Transport and Communications.

 

V.In the Areas of the Culture:

 

25.An initiative of establishing cooperation between the State Folk Ensemble "Philip Koutev"  and national folk ensembles in the Republic of Turkmenistan.

 

26.An initiative of establishing cooperation between the Folk Ensemble "Pirin"and nationa lfolk ensembles in the Republic of Turkmenistan.

 

VI.In the Areas of the Sport:

 

27. An initiative of establishing cooperation between the Bulgarian Olympic Committee and the Olympic Committee of the Republic of Turkmenistan.

28. An initiative of establishing cooperation between the Bulgarian Equestrian Federation and the National Unity "Turkmenistan atlari".

29. An initiative of establishing cooperation between the Bulgarian Wrestling Federation and the Wrestling Federation of the Republic of Turkmenistan.

30. An initiative of establishing cooperation between the Bulgarian Shooting Union and similar Federation in the Republic of Turkmenistan.
