Signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Public Union "Baltic-Black Sea Economic Forum"

Today, 16.09.2019, the Bulgarian Turkmenistan Chamber of Industry and Commerce (BTCIC) and the Public Union "Baltic-Black Sea Economic Forum" signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.

Both organizations have signed this Memorandum, taking into account geopolitical and economic trends, the intensification of trade and understanding the need for:

• enhancing the cooperation between business representatives of the countries of the Black Sea, Baltic and Caspian sea basins;

• contributing to the development and implementation of new logistic models for the transportation of goods, which will maximize the use of existing business potential , stimulating an increase in cargo turnover between the seaports of the countries of the Black Sea, Baltic and Caspian sea basins, in particular, the seaports of Kherson, Gdynia, Klaipeda, Burgas, Kuryk and Turkmenbashi, providing additional opportunities for moving goods between these ports;

• improving the conditions and principles of cooperation between the business representatives of the countries of the Black Sea, Baltic and Caspian sea basins, stimulating an increase in trade between them;

• enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation and introducing best practices in various fields of the production and trade;

• preparation and implementation of joint projects, consolidation of efforts to simplify procedures and minimize the time frame for the implementation of investment projects;

• participation in the preparation and conduct of forums, exhibitions, conferences, round tables, other events aimed at improving the business climate in the countries of the Black Sea, Baltic and Caspian marine basins.

The purpose of the Memorandum is the mutual actions of the Bulgarian Turkmenistan Chamber of Industry and Commerce (BTCIC) and the Public Union "Baltic-Black Sea Economic Forum", aimed at:

• improvement of existing and development of new models of cooperation;

• increasing the efficiency of cooperation between the enterprises and organizations of the Baltic, Black Sea and Caspian Sea basins, in particular, the Kherson region (Ukraine), Burgas (Bulgaria), Gdynia (Poland), Klaipeda (Lithuania), Batumi and Tbilisi (Georgia), Kuryk (Kazakhstan), Turkmenistan, Turkey, Azerbaijan;

• implementation of joint projects.

Memorandum of Cooperation was signed by Chairman of the Board of Bulgarian Turkmenistan Chamber of Industry and Commerce , Mr. Georgi Agafonov and Vice Chairman of the Board of the Public Union "Baltic-Black Sea Economic Forum", Mr. Volodymyr Macuha.
